CURE is the educational and business support network organization for bioscience in Connecticut, with over 100 members. Its mission is to keep Connecticut competitive in bioscience, to tell the Connecticut bioscience story, and to build networks and critical mass for the industry within the state.

Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH)
Yale New Haven Hospital is a 900-bed private, not-for-profit teaching hospital affiliated with the Yale University School of Medicine, serving the needs of more than 440,000 patients from Connecticut, New England and the world. YNHH's dual role is that of both a community and teaching hospital, and it offers a broad array of out-patient services and same-day surgery. YNHH has 6,000 employees and a medical staff of 2,400. The main campus of YNHH includes Yale-New Haven Hospital, the Children's Hospital, the Yale Cancer Center and Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Services. YNHH is the flagship of the Yale New Haven Health System, the most fully-integrated health care delivery and financing system in Connecticut. Both clinical and outcome evaluation are conducted in collaboration with the Yale School of Medicine. In addition, the Yale Cancer Center, the Adult Clinical Research Center and Children's Clinical Research Center in the Children's Hospital conduct a variety of specialized research.

Connecticut Innovations provides strategic capital and technical assistance to support Connecticut's high-tech industries including bioscience. CI was created by the Connecticut Legislature in 1989.
