Energy Resources
Housed at the University of Hartford's College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture, the Clean Energy Institute encourages the introduction of renewable energy resources within Connecticut and provides innovative energy solutions that reduce environmental impacts, while fostering cheap, reliable power.
Established in 2000 by the Connecticut Legislature, the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund promotes, develops, and invests in clean energy sources to fulfill its vision of leading the nation in attaining a sustainable balance of energy production, economic growth and environmental impact.
The Connecticut Hydrogen-Fuel Cell Coalition, administered by the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, is comprised of representatives from Connecticut's fuel cell and hydrogen industry, labor, academia, government, and other stakeholders. CCAT and the Connecticut Hydrogen-Fuel Cell Coalition work to enhance economic growth through the development, manufacture, and deployment of fuel cell and hydrogen technologies and associated fueling systems in Connecticut. The Connecticut Hydrogen-Fuel Cell Coalition is made up of companies and organizations that do business with each other and/or have common needs for talent, technology, and infrastructure.

The Institute for Sustainable Energy at Eastern CT State University focuses on matters relating to energy education, energy policy, energy efficiency, energy conservation and load management, renewable energy, distributed generation, protection of environmental resources, and the dissemination of useful information on energy alternatives and sustainability to users and providers of energy. The Institute adds an unbiased focus on practical applications and dissemination of information about how to improve the energy profile and sustainability of Connecticut and the region.

The Solar Energy Association of Connecticut, Inc. is a nonprofit, educational, public-awareness organization.
